Lake Eyre Adventure

Fly in one of our light aircraft (with a maximum of four passengers per aircraft) to see Lake Eyre from a bird's eye and get in to the spirit of the outback. The surface area of the water in Lake Eyre North and Lake Eyre South combined, is currently greater than that of the Sydney Harbour! Sunshine Aviation is conducting flights to Lake Eyre for five and six day Lake Eyre Adventures to view this magnificent phenomena. Flights depart from a number of Queensland airfields including;  Sunshine Coast Airport or from Brisbane's Archer Field  Airport on demand and fly via such historic places as Charleville, the Charleville Cosmos Centre, Birdsville, Coober Pedy and William Creek.

Enjoy Outback hospitality and storie and get in to the spirit of the outback visiting places like Birdsville, Coober Pedy, Wiliam Creek and Lightning Ridge. Enjoy tours including cosmos centre, sunset tours and fossicking for Opal. Let us know if you would like to stop somewhere else? Or stay longer. In all cases, traveling the Outback and to remote places; the final route will be defined by you. Our flights are very personalised and unique to your requirements. Departure dates and times are dependant on demand.

Prior bookings are essential. Cancellation fees apply, and if the flight is held over due to weather, there would be an extra cost for the accommodation.
